Northwest Indiana Chapter of Romance Writers of America
Grand Beginnings Contest
Northwest Indiana Chapter 89 sponsors an annual writing contest every February. This contest, in which we judge the first five pages of an entrant's manuscript, is open to unpublished romance writers as well as published writers who have not sold a book in the past three years. Membership in the RWA is NOT a prerequisite. The top five entries are sent to an industry professional who makes the final winner selection.
